This media file has been nominated for deletion since 27 June 2021. To discuss it, please visit the nomination page.
Do not remove this tag until the deletion nomination is closed. Reason for the nomination: The file description page states that this piece was arranged by Paul Yoder. If you look at this website, you can see that Paul Yoder published an arrangement of "Anchors Aweigh" at least twice: in March in Time (1939) and in Victory Band Book (1943). These books of music were copyrighted; you can see their respective entries on page 846 here and page 1260 here. While it is possible that Yoder arranged "Anchors Aweigh" at other points in his life, we also have no reason to believe that these hypothetical arrangements are freely usable. I should note that it is possible that the arrangement information was added to the file's page in error (as I don't see this information at the source site); if this is the case, I will support keeping the file. | |
