160513-N-GO855-102 PEARL HARBOR (May 13, 2016) Navy Builder 2nd Class Zachary Schulte, Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2 Construction Dive Detachment (CDD) Alpha, lifts a tool bag out of the water at a work site at Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. UCT 2 CDD provides responsive inshore and underwater construction capabilities. UCTCDD is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th fleet area of responsibility.
