Description

The Monument Above marks the grave of Gustav Weindorfer (1874-1932) An Austrian migrant, founder of Waldheim, who as pioneer, host & guide, with boundless interest in this beautiful area, worked tirelessly to ensure its preservation as a National Park, and in Gustav's words:

"...for the people for all time."
